Gloster

Gloster

I Used Glogster to create a lesson plan in the form of a bulletin board, in order to communicate with substitute teachers(in order to follow the curriculum) with the Parents In order to keep track of the class activities. I found using the Gloster a little difficult in the beginning but once I fiddled with it, the simpler it became. although navigating through the program became more understandable. I soon found out that posting to my blog and website was a little complex. but overall this is a great tool I would continue to use it in the future.

SO WHAT IS GLOSTER....

Glogster is the leading global education platform for the creative expression of knowledge and skills in the classroom and beyond. They empower educators and students with the technology to create glogs multimedia posters-with texts, photos, video, graphics, sounds, drawings, data, attachments and ,more....

Four Seasons Depending on what season you are teaching this lesson plan in, take your students outside for a gross motor activity appropriate to that season. For example, you could have your preschool students play T-ball in the spring and summer seasons. In the autumn season, take your students on a hike. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the changing leaves. In the winter season, go outside and let your preschool students make a snowman!
Art Center Activities for Preschool Lesson Plan: Four Seasons Give each of your preschool students a long sheet of light blue construction paper. Show them how to fold the construction paper in four parts, lengthwise. Help those students who need help with the folding. Fold the paper onto itself. Have your preschool students draw a picture of a bare tree in the winter season on the first section. On the second section, have them draw a picture of a budding tree in the spring season. On the third section, have your preschool students draw a picture of a tree fully leaved in the summer season. On the fourth folded section, have them draw a picture of a tree full of colorful and falling leaves in the autumn season. Songs/Finger Plays/Rhymes for Preschool Lesson Plan: Four Seasons Songs, rhymes and finger plays celebrating the four seasons can be found here. Scroll down to the section titled Seasons.
Pre-math Center Activities for Preschool Lesson Plan: Four Seasons During calendar time, talk about the four seasons. List them on the flannel board. You can either put up pieces of flannel with the words spring, summer, autumn (or fall) and winter written on them in black sharpie marker or you can just put up 4 flannel trees representing the four seasons. Have your preschool students count as you point at the words/trees one-by-one. Have your preschool students cut out a number 4 shape that you have printed on blue paper. Then let them draw four pictures on the number 4: one picture of something they like about spring, another of something they like about summer, and so on for autumn and winter.
Pre-writing Center Activities for Preschool Lesson Plan: Four Seasons For younger students, provide sheets of paper with the letters S and s lightly printed on them. Have the children trace the letters. do the same with the number 4. For older students, provide an example of the letters S and s and the number 4. Have the students practice writing the letters and number freehand.
